ENVIROS, based in Prague, Czech Republic is one of the leading consultancy companies providing assistance mainly in the field of energy, environmental and business consultancy in the Czech Republic, Central and Eastern Europe, but also other parts of the world. The majority stakeholder of ENVIROS is the UK based ENVIROS GLOBAL LIMITED.
ENVIROS entered the market in 1994, currently employs over 35 permanent qualified experts of diversified experience in energy and environmental consultancy. The company employs 11 energy specialists licensed by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic.
ENVIROS has been co-operating with a wide range of clients and partners from international and multi-country institutions, including the United Nations, European Commission, OECD, EBRD and the World Bank, and runs several projects within EC Programmes (HORIZON, Intelligent Energy Europe, LIFE+, CENTRAL EUROPE, Framework Programmes, etc).
The important clients involve institutions of the State Administration, e. g. Ministry of Industry and Trade, Ministry of Environment, Ministry of Regional Development, State Environmental Fund, State Energy Inspectorate, and several local and regional bodies.
Experts of ENVIROS have worked as the independent consultants for financing of energy efficiency project and RES (resource efficiency) projects for majority of banks in Central European markets (Česká spořitelna – Erste Group, ČSOB, Komerční banka – SG Group, UniCredit Bank, Raiffeisenbank, Tatrabanka, VÚB and others.).
From the geographical point of view, the key areas of operation of ENVIROS are the Czech and Slovak Republics and other Central and Eastern European countries. The company track record, however, covers also several successful projects in the Balkan region (Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Kosovo, Macedonia, Bulgaria), former Soviet Union countries (Belarus, Ukraine, Russia, Moldova, and Kazachstan), South-East Asia (Philippines, Vietnam) and Africa (Kenya, Tanzania).
ENVIROS is a member of several professional bodies and associations – Association of Energy Service Companies (APES), Association of Energy Managers (AEM), Association of Energy Auditors (AEA), Czech Green Building Council (CZGBC), Association for Foreign Investment (AFI), Business Platform for Development Cooperation (PPZRS) and British Chamber of Commerce (BCC).
