CEESEU - Enviros
CEESEU (Central and Eastern European Sustainable Energy Union) is an international project, part of the CEESEN initiative, which is being implemented to strengthen the capacities of public administrations to promote sustainable energy, reduce greenhouse gas emissions and make climate change more adaptable in the countries of Central and Eastern Europe.
ENVIROS – together with partners from Estonia, Croatia, Latvia, Germany, Hungary, Poland, Austria, Romania and Slovenia – participates in the creation of educational materials and the implementation of training for representatives of Czech cities.
The project offers also the free processing of Sustainable Energy and Climate Action Plan (SECAP) to smaller cities that do not have the financial or professional capacity to do so. In the Czech Republic, the towns of Zďár nad Sázavou and Český Krumlov and the Local Action Group Hradecký venkov took advantage of this opportunity. Thanks to the Local Action Group Hradecký venkov and the CEESEU project, 37 municipalities of the Hradec Region joined the Covenant of Mayors.
